It's always a privilege when my work gets to contribute to something bigger than just a great photograph. I'm absolutely delighted to share that I had the immense pleasure of collaborating with Alex Denis and the incredible team at CBS New York for their Project Yellow Light billboard ad currently gracing Times Square!
This project holds a special significance for me. I was honored to be invited back by CBS New York after our previous photoshoot for their new President and CEO, Peter Dunn. To now be contributing to such an vital public service campaign, particularly one with the reach of a Times Square billboard, is incredibly rewarding.
The Power of a Message: #DontTextAndDrive
Project Yellow Light is an initiative close to many hearts, dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving, especially texting and driving. Seeing a message like #DontTextAndDrive displayed prominently in one of the world's busiest intersections is a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we work together.
Working with Alex Denis was a fantastic experience. Her professionalism and dedication to the campaign were evident throughout the shoot, and it's always inspiring to collaborate with individuals who are passionate about making a difference. The energy on set, knowing the ultimate destination of these images, was palpable.
Why This Matters
As a corporate photographer, my days are often filled with capturing leadership, team dynamics, and brand identity. But every now and then, a project comes along that allows me to use my craft for a broader purpose. Contributing to a public service announcement like Project Yellow Light is not just about creating visually appealing images; it's about helping to save lives and foster safer communities.
It's a testament to CBS New York's commitment to public service that they consistently champion such important causes. Being a part of this campaign, from the studio to the iconic digital billboards of Times Square, has been an absolute highlight.
So, if you're in Times Square, look up! You might just spot our work with Alex Denis for Project Yellow Light. Let it serve as a powerful reminder for all of us to stay focused on the road and #DontTextAndDrive. Every glance at that billboard is a step towards a safer driving environment for everyone.
